A very special event occurred in August…..we had so many individuals at one of our Saturday breakfasts, we needed to form an “L” shape to fit everyone at the table!

There was also a spectacular event, the Great American Eclipse, which was the first total eclipse going through the continental US since 1979. This month’s program will present members stories of their experiences. I was stunned by the stories of the 15 hour traffic jam from Marion to Chicago, IL.

Please come to the next meeting with your stories, images and show-and-tell.  I will present some of my images and show my camera set-up.  Would be great for others to do the same!

School is back in session and Fall is approaching. That means new activities for the our club for the Great Lakes Ham Con. For SLAARC, this means our plans are ramping up for our October special event, K8MIS.

Have something to present to the club?  We have openings for our October and November meetings for presentations or programs. It does not need to be a written presentation, it can be a show-and-tell, general discussion, or a group activity.
