Ho, Ho, Ho Hams! Happy Holiday Season to You! Here’s a glimpse at this month’s club events, and a reminder that in December, we won’t have our regularly schedule meeting! See below for details.
Special Event: Club Holiday Dinner December 8th @ 6:00pm – In-Person (RSVP Required)
In lieu of the monthly club-meeting, we will be meeting at Black Label Tavern in Milford (131 S Milford Rd, Milford, MI 48381) at 6pm for our annual holiday dinner-party. Please be sure you have RSVP’d via the link sent to you in your club email so that we can plan properly! The holiday party this year will be an opportunity to get together and socialize, celebrating another year of Club Operation. We look forward to seeing you and yours at the event.
Monthly: 2-Beer Social Radio Hour: Friday December 27th @ 4:30pm – In-Person (Open to all 21up)
Come check out our “2-beer Social” and chat about radio projects with other like minded folks! We would love to see you and raise a pint with some club members to talk about the hobby and enjoy a cold brew at the end of the week. Occurs the last Friday of each month from 4:30-7:00pm (or beyond, feel free to come a bit late if your work or commute dictates).
This month we will meet at Witch’s Hat Brewing in South Lyon!
Weekly: Sunday Evening 8pm – The Official SLAARC NET (Open to all licensed Amateurs)
Join us to chat about your recent radio achievements, hear club news, and have a chat with other club members. The weekly Sunday Evening net is the official NET of the SLAARC club and occurs on each Sunday on N8SL (147.040+ 110.9pl) where the club doesn’t have a regular monthly in-person Meeting!
As a reminder, we’re always looking for club members to volunteer to run the net! Please check out the sign-up sheet and help support our club activities if you are able!
Weekly: Thursday Evening 10pm – The Informal Late-Night Roundtable. (Open to all licensed Amateurs)
The Late-Night round table brings a bit more casual conversation with other night-owls on the repeater N8SL (147.040+ 110.9pl). This is not a formal net, so feel free to come by, jump into the conversation whenever a topic peaks your interest. Hosted by N8JRD or W8KNX, we’d love to have you for a late-evening chat!
