Next Saturday, January 8th, 2022 at 10:00 a.m., we will have our SLAARC January Informational Meeting.
The topic will be “Building and using Small Magnetic Loop Antennas” presented by Ted Fisher – AC8SW. Ted is a retired Electrical Engineer from General Dynamics. Ted got his Technician License in 2014, and upgraded to Extra in 2015.
The meeting will be at the Salem-South Lyon District Library located at 9800 Pontiac Trail, South Lyon, Michigan. It is located on the South-East corner of Pontiac Trail and 8-Mile Road. The library opens at 10:00 a.m., so our meeting should begin at about 10:15 a.m.
I am suggesting that we meet for breakfast at Lucas Coney Island at 9:00 a.m. instead of 8:00 a.m. so we can go directly to the Library after breakfast.
